More than 2,000 people attended an incredibly exciting and fun day filled with health information, speakers, screenings, demonstrations and activities.Attendees came from all age groups - from young children to vibrant seniors - and there were activities and information for everyone. Held at the Aqua Turf Club, the free event was jam packed. That's why we're already planning the 2nd Annual Healthy Family FunFest, which is slated for Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at The Aqua Turf Club. It is again being presented by the Southington-Cheshire YMCA, The Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial, and Central Connecticut Senior Health Services, which includes The Orchards, Mulberry Gardens, Southington Care Center, and the Center for Healthy Aging.
