We're back by popular demand!

Last year, three great community organizations got together to host the first Healthy Family FunFest. More than 2,000 people attended an incredibly exciting and fun day filled with health information, speakers, screenings, demonstrations and activities.

Attendees came from all age groups - from young children to vibrant seniors - and there were activities and information for everyone. Held at the Aqua Turf Club, the free event was jam packed.

That's why we're already planning the 2nd Annual Healthy Family FunFest, which is slated for Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at The Aqua Turf Club. It is again being presented by the Southington-Cheshire YMCA, The Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial, and Central Connecticut Senior Health Services, which includes The Orchards, Mulberry Gardens, Southington Care Center, and the Center for Healthy Aging.

Once again, we look forward to the opportunity of demonstrating our common commitment to enhance the health of our community.

Since last year's event was such an unqualified success, we expect that exhibitor space will fill rapidly as many who exhibited last year have already indicated their intention to return.

Additional Information

Full payment for sponsorship must be received by Monday, February 21, 2011. Please see sponsorship details for specific booth/sponsorship inclusions.

Show Terms:

Set-up will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011. All tables must be completely set-up by 10:30 a.m. Any vendor who does not show up by this time will forfeit their table space. No cancellations or refunds once booth is paid for. Vehicles can park close to the front entrance to unload between 8:30 a.m. After 10:30 a.m. vehicles must be moved to the regular parking area. Tables are on a first come, first serve basis and must be paid for in full to reserve. All vendors must be set up until the end of the event.

Parking:

After unloading, please park your vehicle in the far back corner of the front parking lot. Please remember that all prime parking spots should be reserved for attendees.

Insurance:

Each participant/vendor must provide a certificate of liability insurance no later than Monday, February 28, 2011. Primary insured, please list The Aqua Turf Club. Additional insured, please list The Hospital of Central CT, The Southington Cheshire YMCA and Central CT Senior Health Services. The title of the event is "Healthy Family FunFest".

Please e-mail a print-ready logo or ad to agalletta@thocc.org by Friday, February 18, 2011. Any ads or logos received after this date will miss the publication deadline and therefore will not be included in the program.

For those with electricity, the booths are equipped with 110 watts of electricity. If you require more than this, please call Aubrey at 860-224-5695.
